I am Daniel Willis, Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant at People Development Matters Group. With over two decades of experience in risk, safeguarding, and cultural transformation, my professional journey has been defined by one clear objective: to make people safer.

I have held senior leadership roles across both the public and private sectors, including over a decade in the NHS and national programme leadership for NHS England. My work has included developing and embedding large scale strategies in violence prevention, trauma-informed leadership, and sexual safety, all with a strong emphasis on governance, assurance, and long-term cultural change.

At the core of my work is the belief that safety is not simply a procedural requirement, it is an organisational imperative. I support boards, senior leaders, and frontline teams to build environments where people are protected, respected, and able to thrive.
